SLASPA's Sports and Cultural Club donates $3000.00 to Dunnottar School
 
The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority Sports and Cultural Club (SLASPASCC) donated $3000.00 to the Dunnottar School on March 18, 2008, at a cheque presentation ceremony held in the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority's Conference Room, where the Principal of the School, Mrs. Archibald, was on hand to accept the donation.
 
 
First Group of Hospitality Students Graduate from SLASPA facilitated Princess Cruises 2008 Caribbean Internship Program
 
The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) in collaboration with Princess Cruises and Carib Travel held the Graduation Ceremony fort he 2008 Internship Students on Thursday April 24, 2008, aboard the Royal Princess. The internship afforded the students an opportunity to understudy existing Princess Cruises crew on a rotational basis in the Bar, Restaurant, Accommodation and Pursers Departments while the vessel was in Port.

The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) in collaboration with Princess Cruises have embarked on an initiative which directly targets students within the various School districts of St. Lucia to visit several Princess Cruises Vessels between November 2007 and April 2008, while the vessels are in Port.
