SLASPA becomes OECS' First Training Port
 
The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) on September 23, 2009, officially launched its training program which will establich the organization as the OECS' first training port. The official launch ceremony was held in SLASPA's Training Room and in attendance were SLASPA's Senior Management Team, staff members adn members of the port community.

SLASPA Facilitates Historic Cruise Vessel Accommodation at Port Castries
 
The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) accommodated the Dynamic Positioning of the Cruise Vessel, Serenade of the Seas. Dynamic Postitioning (DP) is a computer control systems that automatically maintains a vessels stationary position and heading in open waters.
 
 
SLASPA, Princess Cruises and Carib Travel Continue Internship Program for 2009
 
The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) in collaboration with Princess Cruises and Carib Travel is continuing their internship program for tertiary level students this year. The internship will be onboard Caribbean Princess while berthed at Port Castries.
 
 
SLASPA invests in the Future of St. Lucia's youth
 
Seven well deserving students were recognized by SLASPA at a ceremony held on September 22, 2008 in the Authority's Conference Room. Three of these students were the 2003 Scholarship recipients who all preformed remarkably well at the 2008 CXC Examinations and the remaining four studnets performed extraordinarily well at the Common Entrance Examinations.
