is responsible for overseeing the operations of George F. Charles Airport and Hewanorra International Airport to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of air-based passenger and cargo services and for the safe and efficient provision of air traffic services in St. Lucia.
Lambert Remy’s Civil Aviation career began in1980 as an Air Traffic Control Officer at the George F. L. Charles Airport. He served as an Air Traffic Controller from 1986 to 2008. In 2008 he was promoted to Assistant Airport Manager at the George F. L. Charles Airport. In June 2014 he was promoted to Manager – Air Traffic Services. He was given additional responsibilities as Head of the Airports Department in October 2015 he was appointed Director of Airports on June 1, 2017.
Mr. Remy holds a Certificate in Business Administration (CBA) from the University of the West Indies, a Certificate in Airport Operations from Incheon Airport Aviation Academy in South Korea and a Master of Science degree in Air Safety Management from City University London, England in addition to numerous certificates in various aspects of Airport operations including Airport Council International (ACI) Certificate in Concession Management and Airport Environmental Management.
As Director of Airports, Mr. Remy is responsible for overseeing the operations of George F. Charles Airport and Hewanorra International Airport to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of air-based passenger and cargo services and for the safe and efficient provision of air traffic services in St. Lucia.
